What’s the cost?

How long does a typical enclosure design project take?
Initial concept designs typically take 1-2 weeks. Full production-ready CAD with manufacturing documentation requires 3-6 weeks depending on complexity. Rush projects available for tight deadlines. We provide milestone reviews throughout, ensuring you’re never waiting weeks without seeing progress or providing input on design direction.
Do you provide photorealistic renders for marketing?
Yes. What information do you need to start a project?
We need your hardware dimensions/CAD if available, key component locations, functional requirements (cooling, access panels, mounting), production method preferences, budget parameters, and aesthetic direction or reference images. Don’t worry if details are loose—we’ll workshop requirements together in our discovery phase before design begins.
Can you help with design for manufacturing (DFM) optimization?
Yes, that’s core to our process. We proactively design for manufacturability, considering tooling costs, assembly complexity, material selection, and production volumes. Before finalizing designs, we can coordinate with your manufacturer for DFM review, ensuring zero surprises when you request quotes and smooth transition to production tooling.
How can I be sure that I’ll be happy with the delivery?
As soon as you begin working with us you’ll be given the opportunity to express your vision for your project. We then map out your vision in bite-sized chunks (sprints) in our proprietary project delivery software. Within this software we’ll begin work completing each sprint. Before we’re able to move to the next sprint, you’ll need to approve the completion of the current sprint. In this way, we ensure you’re 100% happy each step of the way.
What the development timeline?
Generally speaking we can push a project across the finish line within 1 week (simple projects) to 3 months (complex projects).
What file formats and CAD software do you deliver?
We deliver native CAD files (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Plasticity or your preferred platform), STEP/IGES for universal compatibility, STL for prototyping, and technical drawings with full manufacturing specifications. You receive complete design packages ready for CNC, injection molding, 3D printing, or your chosen production method.
Can you design for my specific manufacturing method?
Absolutely. Whether injection molding, CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, carbon fiber layup, or 3D printing—we optimize designs for your production method and budget. We understand draft angles, undercuts, tolerances, and cost drivers for each process, ensuring designs are beautiful AND economically manufacturable at your target volumes.
What if the design needs changes during prototyping?
Design iteration is normal and expected. We include revision rounds in our projects and remain available during your prototyping phase. If test-fitting reveals needed adjustments or you want to refine aesthetics after seeing physical prototypes, we’ll update CAD files and documentation to ensure final production units are perfect.
